GRS certified yarns follow set requirements for certification of recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices.
The GRS certification helps to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimised.
ethically sourced wool
We work with ethically sourced wool, following the Responisble Wool Standard (RWS). The scope of RWS covers animal welfare, land management and social welfare requirements.
Our yarn suppliers ensure ethical chain of custody for wool from the farm to the trader and throughout yarn processing.
natural bamboo
Bamboo is a luscious and soft fibre that is plant based. Some refer to bamboo as “vegan silk”, as it shares the signature softness and drape of silk. Bamboo yarns have a medium drape and the fibers are naturally breathable making them perfect for summer and warm climates.

Linen is a strong, durable fiber made from the flax plant. It is perfect for knitting spring and summer weight garments because of its absorbency and drape.
The long linen fibers have a natural wax coating, providing a lovely sheen to completed projects.Other wonderful flax yarn properties include that it is anti-fungal and antibacterial.
